Wreckage of Ohio Plane Crash Seen in Bodycam Footage

Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) officers attended the scene of a single-engine plane crash at Cleveland Hopkins Airport in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, April 6, in which a pilot was injured.

Footage released by the patrol shows officers photographing pieces of the 1981 Beech A36 fixed wing single-engine plane, which had crashed when it attempted to land at around 6 pm on Saturday.

“While attempting to land on the runway at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, the plane touch down onto the runway, bounced back up, then nosedived and crashed,” the OSHP said in a press release.

The pilot, 64-year-old Aris Delianides, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, Jacqueline Delianides, was not injured, the release said. Credit: Ohio State Highway Patrol via Storyful
