Ukraine refugees arrive at Polish camp

STORY: People huddled around fires and volunteers gave them food and supplies. Many are women and children, as Ukraine has stopped its male citizens between 18-60 years of age from leaving the country.

Waiting times to get across to Poland and elsewhere on Ukraine's borders with the EU are long, with some accounts of people waiting more than a day.

Nesrine Elmajd, a woman from Morocco said, she had walked 50 kilometres (31 miles) to get over the border, after having fled from Kyiv to Lviv before crossing the border into Poland.

In Przemysl, not far from Medyka buses arrived on Monday (February 28) carrying refugees to a temporary camp.
