Smoke from the Camp Fire in northern California blanketed San Francisco on Thursday, November 14, causing the city to issue a warning about air quality.

The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management issued a warning on Thursday, advising residents to stay indoors due to an increased health risk associated with the air quality. The Environmental Protection Agency measured a 197 air quality between “unhealthy” and “very unhealthy.” Many San Franciscans have donned masks to mitigate against the potential health effects of the smoky air.
