Protesters marched through the streets of Hendaye, France, on August 24 in a demonstration against the G7 summit in nearby Biarritz.

According to France 24, anti-globalization and climate activists were joined by Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vest) protesters, as well as Basque nationalists for the march.

This footage shows demonstrators walking through Hendaye, before crossing the border into Spain, and ending the march with a rally in Irun.

Placards carried by those in attendance took aim at globalization, inequality, and economic policies enforced by leading nations across the world that are harmful to the environment.

The march was part of the ‘counter-G7 summit,’ which took place in Hendaye, and Irun in the days preceding the Biarritz meeting.
