Landspout Tornado Causes Damage in Northern Colorado

A line of storms spawned several landspouts in Colorado’s Weld County, northeast of Denver, on Wednesday, May 20, causing damage to outbuildings near Greeley, officials said.

Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams posted photos on Facebook on Wednesday evening showing damage to structures, and warned residents to be ready for severe weather.

The National Weather Service in Boulder said there appeared to have been “three separate occurrences” in the area. No casualties were reported. Credit: Emily Wiedeman via Storyful
