Lithuanians Gather in Capital in Solidarity With Ukraine After Zelensky Appeals for Support

Large crowds gathered in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius on Thursday, March 24, after Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky asked for the international community’s support of the country.

Footage filmed by Gintas Reisgys shows people draped in Ukrainian flags and singing the patriotic song ‘The Red Viburnum in the Meadow’ at Vilnius’s Independence Square.
