'Once in a Lifetime': Large Herd of Bison Block Traffic at Yellowstone National Park

A large herd of bison brought traffic to a standstill in Yellowstone National Park recently, wowing stalled drivers including Shane Broyles, who recorded this video and called it a “once in a lifetime” event.

Broyles said he shot the video on October 26, near the Grand Prismatic Spring. “As we drove down the road we noticed a few bison in the road, not realizing how many there were and what we were about to witness,” he told Storyful. Credit: Shane Broyles via Storyful
