As Flash Gordon celebrates its 40th anniversary, Yahoo catches up with stars Sam J Jones (Flash Gordon) and Brian Blessed (Prince Vultan) to discuss the classic sci-fi film's legacy. Both stars signed up to make multiple films, but no sequels ever came to fruition. Blessed has strong opinions on whether the film should ever be remade, however the film has never looked better thanks to a brand new 4K remaster. The 4K remaster of Flash Gordon is in cinemas now, and comes to 4K UHD Collector’s edition, Blu-ray, Steelbook, DVD and digital on 10 August.
