Sunlight illuminated a massive storm cloud as severe weather hit northern Texas on Tuesday, September 19, video shows.

Timelapse footage from Clinton Hendricks captured the “amazing scene” near the town of Thalia after hail and gusty winds lashed parts of northern Texas.

The National Weather Service called the storm in Thalia a “life threatening situation,” and warned of baseball-sized hail and winds reaching up to 60 mph. Credit: Clinton Hendricks via Storyful
