Yahoo TV 'Comet of a Century' Makes Appearance Over Golden Gate Bridge at Sunrise

A comet dubbed “comet of the century” made an appearance over the Golden Gate Bridge on September 27, as the sun was rising on San Francisco.
The beautiful shot was recorded by Shreenivasan Manievannan and shows Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) making a timid appearance in the Northern Hemisphere.
The comet was forecast to reach perihelion, the closest distance to the sun, on September 27, with Space.com predicting that “should the comet survive its brush with the sun”, it will become brighter in the next few days. Credit: Shreenivasan Manievannan via Storyful
