Exercise Can Extend Life, Even for the Elderly, New Study Finds

The study was conducted by researchers at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It was published on Oct. 17 in the journal 'JAMA Open Network'. In addition to at least two and a half hours of moderate to intense aerobic activity a week the study found that men over the age of 65 who also incorporated strength training between two and six days a week lived longer than those who didn't.
