Yahoo TV New Vent Discovered on Spain's Cumbre Vieja Volcano

A new vent was discovered on the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma on Saturday, October 2, bringing to three the number of new openings discovered on the volcano since Friday.
The Canary Islands Volcanology Institute (Involcan) posted this drone footage showing liquid, magma, and gas erupting from the new mouth Saturday morning.
Spain’s Maritime Safety and Rescue Society continued to collect samples from the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday morning, to monitor the impact of the introduction of lava after it spilled into the water. Credit: Involcan via Storyful
