The National Weather Service (NWS) in Blacksburg, Virginia, reported 5 inches of snow at its office on the morning of Sunday, February 7, as a winter storm swept through the northeastern United States.
The NWS in Blacksburg issued a winter storm warning for parts of Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina until midday Sunday.
